How to reach it:

The Costa Brava is situated at about 25 miles from the capital Gerona which has an international airport.

You can find very reasonably priced charter flights by Ryanair to Girona throughout the year and scheduled flights to Barcelona with British Airways, Iberia or EasyJet. There are the usual car rental facilities available at both airports

If you are arriving from France by car you only have to drive one hour from the French town of Perpignan to reach the centre of the Costa Brava.

What to do:

The are all kind of activities on the Cost Brava to suite all tastes.

Quality Golf and Country clubs, marinas at L’Escala, L’Estartit, Sant Feliu de Guixols, Platja d'Aro, Palamós, just to name a few. Horse riding, trekking, diving, sunny beaches, skiing only one hours drive away and of course a superb selection of restaurants, cafes and famous tapas bars where you can enjoy the best Mediterranean cuisine.

You can also visit the renowned "Dalí" museum at Figueres, the Roman and Greek excavations in Castell de Empúries, the historical centre of Gerona (spealt 'Girona' by the Catalans) or the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.
